Since 1999, MEM Tea has been a specialty tea wholesale vendor serving shops and restaurants in the Boston, Cambridge and Brookline areas. In September 2016, MEM Tea opened its first training center and tasting room. “We wanted to reach the end-user and get a little bit more interaction with the people who are actually drinking the tea,” says Ian Tartasky, the store’s marketing director.
The center serves as a place to train current wholesale customers as well as the tea-loving public. MEM Tea’s goal is to demystify the world of tea and make it available and accessible to all. Classes include one-on-one pourings, herbal blending classes, chai-making classes and more.
MEM Tea’s tasting room visitors can sample and purchase over 100 types of loose-leaf teas from around the world. “We’re looking to educate people on quality of tea,” Ian added. So which ones will you choose?
MEM Tea, a proud user of the Spatially Ads ad-targeting platform, is located at 196 Elm Street, Davis Square, North Cambridge, MA.
