Virtuosity - Boston, MA

Sep 1, 2017 12:35:53 PM

Music is always in the air at Virtuosity. Located steps from Boston Symphony Hall, the New England Conservatory and Berklee College of Music, Virtuosity is New England’s premier wind and brass pro shop.

The store was founded in 2015 with the goal of creating a communal meeting place for musicians to exchange ideas, network and learn about instruments, old and new.

“Our biggest focus is on the professional realm, so we sell new, used and vintage instruments, as well as some antique instruments that go back to about the 1800s,” said owner Steve Johnson. Johnson, who is deeply rooted in the greater Boston community, has always been fascinated with musical instruments.

But Virtuosity prides itself on being more than just another music store. “The thought that we can create beautiful sounds from raw materials such as wood or metal is incredible. The first time I made a sound on my trumpet, it blew me away,” he added.

Whether it’s a custom horn or a rare collectible, Virtuosity is the right place to find your dream musical instrument. Make sure to visit them when you’re nearby!

Virtuosity is located at 234 Huntington Ave, Boston, MA.
